I bought an epox 3vca2 mobo with a p3 733 from a friend. From the time he
bought it it didn't work right, crashing numerous times ( we tried win 98se,
winME and win2k nothing really was stable ) a day so he gave it to me for a
really good price.I dropped the fsb down to 125 from 133 and now it's stable
as can be. I have 1 256 mb pc133 dimm. It works fine at up to 140 (cas3) on
two other test mobos so i know it's not the mem. Question: I see there are
some jumpers on the mobo for fine tuning of the cpu core voltage. Does
anybody have any experience with this? Would jumping up the juice a bit
allow me to run my cpu at rated speed or better? I don't think heat will be
a problem as it's only running 1or2 degrees above basement temp. Any help
unleashing this beast would be appreciated.
