9CJS Bios Version 8 Questions

hi

just found this forum,, and the chaintech sub forum yay !!

ok i have a 9CJS, firstly, where is the current Bios version displayed, when i boot up i pause the screen at the top it says

Phoenix Awardbios v6.00PG

9CJS 12/29/2004

and at the bottom i get

12/29/2004-875P+ICH5R-JS79BC0CC-00

now i flashed with what i downloaded from chaintech site version 8 of the bios,, but i dont see any number change !!! ?? how is this possible to check,, because i know that version 7 had some win xp service pack 2 support, so i wanted to put the bios to the latest version
