a7n8x deluxe rev 2 ... a USB question ...

I have a 160 Gig external USB 2.0 Hard Drive.

Before I got the a7n8x mobo, I was able to boot from a floppy and restore
a Ghost Image from the external USB drive. My boot floppy used the ASPI
Manager for USB mass storage v 2.06 from Panasonic.

With the a7n8x-deluxe it scans during the boot process and it loads the
DI1000dd ASPI driver but it does not find the external hard drive.

Does anyone know an answer to this problem?

Could it be a USB 2.0 driver issue? Have you tried all the USB ports?

I have run into the same problem, same board. I plug in an external
drive and the "disconnect" icon does show up in the system tray but
the drive doesn't show up in explorer.
