Hi.
I have this motherboard and i would like to know if i can use ddr400 memory.
My cpu is a TB 2600+ (fsb 333). For a ddr400, the fsb must be at 200, so if
I want to use this memory at 400, i have to OC my cpu....

Actually, i'm using ddr266, so mu cpu is only at 2000+ (133*12.5). What is
the best memory i can buy?

Thanks

Yes, you can use DDR400 memory and there is no need to overclock anything.
The board supports asynchronous bus speeds, that is you can run the memory
at 200MHz (DDR400) and the FSB at 166MHz (DDR333) no problem. I would not
advise running a 200MHz FSB with that board because you will put the pci and
agp bus out of spec which is likely to cause problems.

But if you read the manual, the ddr400 memory only can be used at 266.
if you use ddr333 can be used at 333,266,200
and if you use ddr266, you can only select 266

this is a suport table i have read in the manual.
