I want it becuase it supports SATA 2 and NCQ. But is the rest of it
any good. Want to plonk an AMD X2 3800 and two Samsung SATA 2 160 gig
drivesin raid on it

CONS:

My WD1600JS (160GB SATA 3Gbit/s) drive is listed as ATA100 during system
boot.

Does NOT work fine with my GeForce6600 (gigabyte). The YUY2 overlay mode is
rendered with some black artifacts at higher resolutions (640X480 or
greater) - really enoying

I am not quite sure if the nForce 4 is really the Ultra version as the
sticker on the box says, since none of benchmark software I have used so far
says it is so.

The overal quallity of the board. Looks really! really! cheap.

No mention about AMD X2 CPU support. Check it out first...


PROS:
the heat pipe on the chipset - doesn't even get really hot.

Recomend another one with SATA 2 ect ??

I would rather choose Gigabyte.
