My wife has an Acer 1642. She started to have problems with the keys only working with the flash of the courser. That is with every flash the letter/ number key would work. The touch pad was very slow and choppy. When you moved the mouse it would not move except moving with a jumping effect.
I did a factory reset of the computer and then used the FN-F7 so the touch pad would work. After the reset everything worked fine, untill. When I reset the wireless interface up for the linksys router it all went crazy again. The mouse went back to like is was before and the key pad is back to the same thing aswell. I am at my witts end with this thing. Any ideas what could cause this trouble?
