Acer Aspire 9300-3375

Hi,

I had a problem with the bios flashing on my laptop. I downloaded the bios for the acer aspire for 9300 on acer's website, but the bios seems incompatible since I am unable to start my laptop anymore -- it just goes to a black screen on boot.

Does anyone know why the bios flash wasn't compatible? What is the correct bios and how would I be able to flash the bios on my laptop in its current state?

I believe the bios version was 1.20 and I am using windows xp on my laptop which orginally came with windows vista preinstalled.

Any help would be appreciated as I really need my laptop for work.
