Acer System CD 2-1 TravelMate Please HELP

I'm in a bit of a situation :crybaby:

I sold my Acer TravelMate 244LM to a good friend, he decided to have
clean instalation in his name as we have the system 3x CD set tha
came with the TravelMate when new

We following the on screen instructions untill we came accross a erro
on CD2-1 (scratched) now just black screen with no operating system.

He cant use the laptop beacause of 1 damaged CD

Now I need a copy of the CD 2-1 to get the TM working agai

4 days on i'm still trying to find a solution

PLEASE CAN ANYONE HELP, PLEASE

If you have a day for YOUR computer to analyze the bad CD and recover it,
this might help:

I have successfully recovered data from corrupted CDs and DVDs with this
program, and I think it has a free trial... though the process can take a
long time.

So, recover the CD to a folder on your desktop, then burn the data on to a
CD and try it out!

And he didn't have to re-install just to change the user name in any
case :-)

Is the CD scratched on the label side or the playing side? If the
label, you're in trouble. If the other, try polishing out the scratch
with a mild cutting paste. Start with metal polish, or the fluid
sold for "cutting back" car paintwork. Finish off with toothpaste.
