ADSL Modem Hardware

Hi!!!
I need to know about the hardware used in ADSL modems. Can any one
there please suggest me some good website where the hardware is
explained.

First of all, how off-topic can you go? :-)
Secondly, I don't think there's a site explaining the one and only hardware
that is used in an ADSL modem, because there are hundreds of different modem
types around the globe.

You might look for a more to-the-topic newsgroup or try and download data
sheets and maintenance guides for Alcatel ADSL modems (if they are for
free).
That might put you in the right direction.

You might also google for ADSL modulation/demodulation technigue. This is a
very interesting kind of lossless compression using a pseudo ternair system
(like ISDN) instead of binary ones and zeros. Ofcourse there's much more to
discover about this nice piece of technigue but this information might leed
you to the answer you want.

I've not checked the contents of their website in detail but I know that
Broadcom (www.broadcom.com) are one the big players in ADSL chipsets. Maybe
check out the datasheets and app notes for their devices.
