So are these newsgroups, lots of email lists, and other web forums? What
makes your so different from all the others?

MyAppleFix.com is a traditional forum. Not a newsgroup or topic board.
The userface of phpbb or vbulletin makes it easier to view topics you
want to see (rather than a list of every topic). Plus you still have
the option of being emailed when posts are made.

or because I actually enjoy discussing Apple topics? The site's been
up for over a year and i've made $0 - if I wanted $ I would have
dropped this long ago and tried a different way.
