I recently installed an ECS AMD690GM-M2 motherboard and AMD 64 x2
5000+ CPU. I installed both in an existing Cooler Master case that I
had my old motherboard and CPU in. I am having a problem with the
computer rebooting if I touch the external front panel audio jack or
front panel USB ports on the case. This never happened with my old
motherboard in this same case. I also get a static shock if I touch
the ports. Even if I don't touch the audio or USB on the front of the
case, but I plug in head phones, I hear a static shock sound and the
computer reboots. Temporarily, I disconnected the front audio and USB
ports from the motherboard until I can find a solution. Any thoughts
about this? Thank you.
