On the Intel Website

http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd...ustryspecs.htm

it states that the DG965WH motherboard is compatible with the
AMIBIOS Desktop Core 8.0. This would allow my computer
to use EFI. Does anyone know HOW I'd go about getting this
BIOS? The latest BIOS update on Intel's Website
(3/26/08) doesn't mention it. Of course I'm looking to install
Mac OSX on my system from an unmodified Apple install DVD
which is why I'm looking for EFI. I know about the OpenMac
for $399.00 which will run OSX but I'm hoping to be able to use my
existing hardware.

Thanks for any info you might give.

I get the impression from reading these pages that the board may
be EFI compliant, but no one has written an EFI BIOS for it yet,
and probably never will. You might get better answers if you
repost your question on comp.sys.intel.
