another newbie, possibly another dead tiger...

i have built almost the same setup as another member who posted abou
a problem, although mine has never started whereas he at least got
few weeks out of his

i have the tiger s2877 board, 2 x 248 opterons, 2x 1gig ecc, a 530
tagan psu

It did briefly boot to a flash screen, didnt leave this screen,
figured it wouldnt recognise the wireless k/b so turned off to plu
in a ps2 one. since then it hasnt worked. there was an electrica
'smell' during this initial setup too.

i have tried allsorts since, ive filtered out the gfx & sound, iv
tried both cpus individually in the correct socket. ive also tried th
PSU with another board, it worked fine, although that was a socke

does it sound like a dead mobo ? or could it be the cpus ? and how ca
i check !
