Christopher, are you running XP via bootcamp or similar on the
MacBook, or within Parallels or VMWare Fusion? I use Fusion and get
fairly good response on my MacBook (2GB RAM).
I much prefer the Mac OS, and many of my concerns turned out to not be
true. I thought that they would run hot, but they aren't any hotter
than my Windows laptops. The wireless reception is better than any of
my laptops too.
Next year (wait .. lol this year) Apple is going to open a store in
China. The potential is truly staggering. I don't see how Apple
could retain its monopoly on hardware though and be accepted into
foreign markets. Time will tell ..... I think Apple stock is a
growth stock with tremendous potential, even at these "inflated"
prices.
In the meantime, I am enjoying my Mac Book as my primary "on the go"
laptop.
