Do any of the desktops have quad core processors now? I'm really kicking
myself for not jumping on the dimension 9200 deal a couple of weeks ago.

Sure, the XPS410. It's the same machine as the D9200, just with a
different label. Not as cheap though -- I just priced one today!

Quite a bit more pricey. I can't imagine that they're going to leave
that void in the product line in SB. Earnings come out tonight. Should
be interesting.

You need to look at Home, not Small business. SB only has the 710,
which is outrageous. Home still has the 410.

The D9200 was what, $809? The 410 is $899 with the Quad Core and Vista
Home Premium. As I recall the $809 might have been with basic.

I'm actually considering one just because the 410 will likely get
replaced and I like the configuration.

It was $609 with the quad core, two gigs of RAM, and XP Home or Vista
Home Basic. The only weak link was the 80 gig harddrive.

Well, the low-end is a 320Gb Drive and Vista Home Premium, so a couple
hundred right there. Forgot it was $609.

I could kick myself.

Does that old link still work? I can't find it.

Harddrives are dirt cheap is you look around. And I'm not interest in
Vista at this point. I have too much stuff than needs to run trouble
free and isn't supported under Vista.

Yeah, but we're too late. 80GB would have been fine for me, as all I
want is a boot drive. I HAVE to have Vista as XP doesn't support
greater than a 2TB Raid array

CS2. I've got CS3 also but that's still hit or miss. My EyeOne Display
has no support either.
