Hi, Can anyone help me, I have an AMD 3000XP CPU on the Asus7N8X-E
Board which automatically set clock speed at 166, however when I
attempt to Trancode DVDs for Burning the system restart after approx.
5mins. When I manually set clock speed to 133 CPU running as a 1700
Athlon I can Transcode and Burn successfully.

It sounds like your CPU is overheating when running at heavy loads for
long periods of time. Make sure the CPU fan is fully operational, and
that there is a good layer of thermal bonding solution, which will
have to be replaced when you look. Also, try doing other CPU
intensive tasks to see if overheating really is the problem. If it
restarts then, it probably is overheating.
