Hello!

I have a trouble turning on a motherboard ATC-1020 BIOS VER:1.3 00209-25-97 ,
which occurred after some mechanical manipulations.
BIOS passes through the power-on self test, but the message
Keyboard is locked out - unlock the key
at the end of POST stops all the initialization.
It's independent of a keyboard device and even of its presence,
and also of extension cards (VGA etc.) installed.
Keyboard controller seems functioning,
because keyboard LEDs flash during POST.
Resetting CMOS did not help.
I extracted the board out of the box
and searched it for mechanical damages - none found.

A box does not have a keyboard lock,
but I think that a keyboard lock socket should be present somewhere.
I don't have a manual and was not find it.
May be I removed occasionally some jumper... I don't remember.
IMHO it's possible - in the worst case -
to load a modified BIOS, which will ignore keyboard lock condition.

After that, my questions are:

* Where the keyboard lock socket may be placed? (how to find it)

* How to distinguish between improper socket/jumper settings
and a motherboard failure?

* Where BIOS gets a knowledge about keyboard lock state?

Im'sorry for my stupidity.
The problem was in the "Turbo" switch at the box,
that was connected to the keyboard lock socket at the motherboard.
I occasionally switched it :-(

I found it with the help of documentation at http://pq.ozersk.ru/th99/m/A-B/34087.htm
There was another URL found in the Net: http://www.atrend.com.tw/download/manual-user-E.html
, but that domain no more exists...

A socket even is marked!
But the mark printed in place hard to observe.
