Hi, I would like to ask about the differences between the Athlon and
Duron technologies. I mean What's the difference between a Duron 2 GHz
and an Athlon 2 GHz? Could somebody answer me?
Thanks

The Duron is AMD's version of Intel's Celeron, that is, it's AMD's low
price processor. I am not sure if it is in production anymore. I
think I heard somewhere that AMD has discontinued it.

As far as technical differences go, I'm not the one to be answering
since I don't know! <grin> I'm curious as to whether the later
Durons used Quanti-Speed like their Athlon cousins.
