guys can you give me an idea of what a normal temp for a 9800 pro is.

I'm talking, just using windows, browsing the net type of deal. Stock
clocks.

I'm getting like 55 C just now. Granted, we are going through bit of a
heat wave here lately, but since I'm new to ati, I don't know if this
is ok.

overclocked to 410/370, I hit about 62 after doing all the
benchmarking one after another. Playing Far cry for about an hour at
those clocks, and it's about 60

My case temp is about 29-34 during this heat wave crap, but on a
normal day without the heat it's about 27 average.

Antec P160 case. Two 120mm fans on blast. I'm getting the temp on the
ati by sticking the probe between the heat sink and gpu as best I can.
I am asking this as I am wondering just how accurate it is. There
seens to be a sweet spot that I can stick it in there where I get
these really high temp readings. Otherwise, if I just carelessly put
it between there, it reads at around 40-44

Stock cooling on ati card until my artic cooler thingy gets here. One
I put that on I'll see if it's the 360 core, and I may consider
flashing it if it is.
