Ati Component output not putting out right res

Does anyone know why ATI 9500 Pro with component dongle will only put out
720x480? I have the dip switch set to 1080i only, but it insists on putting
about 720x480. I can't get it to put out 1080i. Yes I do have a HiDef ready
set too. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks
