I wonder if you can rent or lease a truck/suv (4 wheel drive/ AWD) for
6 months??? I never heard of this but if so, might solve your
problems or take public transportation if available. In NYC, cars are
a pain due to parking, etc.. and public transportation works best in
all weather.
