How do I disable my dv9088 laptop' habit of powering itself up from
hibernation and running its battery flat?

Couple of guesses - is wake on lan / wake on ring / wake on keyboard
configured anywhere ?

And wake on scheduled task, and .... The list probably goes on and on.

This was my reaction, but there don't seem to be any settings in the
BIOS for wake on anything.
