What is the best type/speed mainboard for parhelia

Hello,

I 've finally bought the parhelia for my flightsim hobby.
Installing it went like a charm, no problems at all with FS2004 in
triplehead-mode 3072x768.
It now runs on a AMD XP2400+ with 266 fsb nforce chipset.
This configuration runs reasonably well, but...
I wonder what mainboard goes best with the parhelia (AGP8x), to have a
balanced system so that CPU and videocard can perform well without being a
bottleneck for eachother.

There's always a bottleneck.
