Is it a PS/2 keyboard? If so, is it plugged into the mouse port and not the
keyboard port?
Is it a USB keyboard? If so, try a PS/2 keyboard temporarily. With a PS/2
keyboard you can get into the CMOS setup screens. In Integrated Peripherals
(possibly one of the sub-menus beneath), set "Keyboard support via" from OS
to BIOS then Save & Exit Setup. Allow the computer to reboot then shut down
and power down so you can remove the PS/2 keyboard (you don't want to
plug/unplug components from the PS/2 ports when the system has power applied
... even backup power).
