Boot problem on AV8

Hi!
I have a weird boot problem on my AV8 motherboard. It happens when the
system was shut down for more than 5 minutes. The computer starts to boot,
and, after 1 or 2 seconds, it reboots. It does this for 3 to 20 times and
then boots normally. I updated the BIOS to version 19, changed RAM, video
card and power supply unit, tested all the parts in another computer (except
CPU and motherboard) and the problem is still here. Also, the POST code
shown on the board's display changes at every reboot, so I can't link the
problem to a specific part of the boot process. If you have any idea on what
could cause this problem, please let me know.

Just in case you need them, here are my system's specs:
AV8 motherboard
Athlon64 3500+
Kingston KVR400X64C3AK2/1G (1Gb dual kit DDR400)
nVidia GeForce6600GT-VTD128
2xWD 120Gb hd
LG GSA-4160b DVD-RW
Antec TrueBlue 480Watts PSU

----------

There is an issue with Antec PSU's made before August 2004 and the AV8.
Antec are aware of the issue and will replace them.
I had the same issue with a NeoPower 480 and ended up RMAing it.

I think you just solved my problem! I've been testing my system with an
older 350Watts PSU and it's working perfectly. Thank a lot for the fast
answer !
