if you wanna dual boot from your computer, you have to follow the following
order to install OSs.....Window98(or ME) --> Windows 2000 --> Windows XP
Pro........you wont be able to have to Win98 systems exist on the same
box......by the way....the Win2000 and XP will give you an option to choose
what OS you want to boot during the start-up if you have two systems
installed on the box........if you want to dual boot Win and Linex together
on the same box, you will definitly have to install Windows first, then
install Linex on a separate partition.....then the Linex will give you an
option at start-up to choose what OS to boot.....
BTW.....the first installed partition will be the system partition....no
matter it's C, D, E, or so.......and no matter how many OSs you installed on
the computer, you will always have to boot from the system
partition..........if you really want to install two or more OSs on
different partitions, and also boot from different partitions, you will need
to install then separately on upto three primary active partitions, which
will take three HDD)....
