The tablet os is quietly appearing in stores and Asus may have something
that those interested more in touchscreen and low cost than mobility
might be interested in.

Think the main point is that this is not a portable... i.e. no battery,
but, if you like onscreen input and like the $600 price, this might be
the ticket.
Further, we see touchscreens in places such as restaurants but they have
not been accessible to individuals... this might open up possibilities
for implementing touch input in a number of places where it has not been
feasable.
