install it in my Gateway?

Maybe. It depends on the specifications for the motherboards in each of the
systems. Neither company used/uses very special memory as a rule, and both
companies relied/rely on somewhat generic motherboards.

What are the models and, more importantly, the BIOS identifiers of the
