It's too late now, but for future reference, a BIOS Savior works on the
4GB BIOS in my A8N-SLI Premium, and I assume it would work in yours.
Its cost is roughly 1% of the device you reference. If you'd installed
one to start with, you could just flip a switch on the back panel,
begin booting to the old BIOS, and use the built-in EZ Flash OR a
bootable floppy to reflash the corrupted BIOS.
Unfortunately, it won't work for you now, because the Savior has to be
flashed before you can boot with it, and the product comes with an
unprogrammed chip. After you solve this problem, it would be a good
solution for future problems
The manufacturer seems to be allowing this product to languish, and I
don't think they've ever developed a model compatible with the 8GB BIOS
versions on the latest Asus boards. But the BIOS Savior is such simple
and inexpensive insurance against BIOS corruption that I'd never have
considered building an A8N32-SLI rig without one.
