What card to get

Im in the 150 dollar price range, time is a factor. best buy
has ATI radeon 9600XT for 150.00 right now, is this the best
I can do for 150.00? thanks.

I like the one I have, but if I had to do it over again, I'd
find another $50 and get the 9800. One site I read says
the 9800 Pro got higher benchmarks than a 9800XT
that was tested. Maybe the Pro was 256 meg ?? I don't
remember. If you think like I do, your next mobo upgrade
is going to be the AMD 64. For that, I'd let the 3200+
drop a bit, and pick up a Gigabyte mobo combo from
Mwave for about $400. That is when you are going to
start kicking yourself for getting a 9600XT, because
I don't think the upgrade will work without the 9800.

Look harder, you should be able to find a 9700pro in that price range.
