I will need to make configuration changes and installs
for about 60 tablet pcs. these changes will be the same
for all tablets, therefore I was wondering if there was a
way to make these changes without me having to manually
change each tablet.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Nadya

Since Windows XP Tablet PC Edition is just a superset of Windows XP
Professional, all the tools and tricks that are available for Windows XP
work fine on the Tablet PC. These include WMI and scripting in general, and
the whole range of deployment tools -- both MS deployment tools, and third
party ones. What is best for your particular situation will depend on a
variety of factors, including the changes you need to make, the level of
sophistication of your users and your administrators, and the general
corporate environment and infrastructure available.

What specific settings are you trying to change?

Some thoughts:

Imaging (Symantec Ghost et. al.) - setup a base machine
the way you want it and create an image that you then
deploy to other machines before deployment

Using the All Users folder - You can customize settings
for a base user, then copy those changes to the All Users
folder under Documents and Settings. Then, anyone who
logs onto the machine will get those settings. This does
not work for everything, but for many settings. You could
copy this folder out to your network, then pull it down
for each machine to the All Users folder.

Hope it helps.
