I have a dell inspiron 1501 with xp. Everytime I try to copy files to a cd it automatically formats a new cd with Roxio. The problem is that if I give this disk to my wifes desktop she cannot read all the files on the cd - not too good. How do I copy files without using Roxio and just use windows explorer? I would appreciate any help as I am trying to create a backup of my tax files and I would like them to be read on any computer and not just ones that have Roxio.

Thanks
T
