D101GGC showing incorrect processor speed

This problem appeared on a i915 chipset board I purchased from Comp
Geeks. CPU-Z and PC Wizard show the processor correctly - LGA775 640
3.2ghz 2mb cache, but the multiplier shows as x14 making the processor
speed 2.8g. I contacted Gateway but they couldn't even find support
for the board based on the serial I gave them. I figured it was
related t othe board so I bought a D101GGC board thinking it would
clear it up. It did not. With the latest BIOS 0307 I still get a x14
multiplier and 2.8ghz speeds. I bought all intel so I wouldn't have to
deal with this kind of stuff! No info on the intel board, and
everything I can find that relates is for an ASUS board. My next step
is to take out the board and return it. Any help on this would be
appreciated.

Thanks

I just built a system with a D101GGC board and I am wondering if you
found a board and/or processor monitoring utility that works with it.
The downloadable utilities from the Intel web site do not seem to
support that board, presumably because it is built on an ATI chipset.
