Hi,

I've just noticed that my new Dell monitor makes Whizzing noise on specific
Amazon web page! I think it is Contrast and text related as I cannot hear
it when contrast is under 30. But could someone with same monitor confirm
this? Whizzing noise only appears when page
http://www.amazon.co.uk/review/produ...owViewpoints=1
is maximized. If you scroll to the middle of the page with large paragraph
it gets noisier! How strange is that? I thnk it is something to do with
font size and density. There is less noise if I increase or decrease Text
size via browser. My monitor revision is A01.

no monitor itself should ever make a noise.
sounds like there is a defect.
get it replaced.

do you have a sound bar below it? is the sound coming from there?

i've only vaguely seen what you are describing on a old laptop, and the
sounds was coming from the speakers on the laptop, as different web
sites were scrolled.
i just ignored it.

hi,

sorry for the late reply, i've been busy setting-up my new dell pc.
I don't think its a defect. I got the second monitor and it make exact
noise on that page! Regardin soundbar, I must say that I don't have one,
and it is defently comming from the monitor (top edge).

It is noticable is a very quiet room.

Regards
