I want to install an audio pot for the internal speaker. Does anyone
know how many ohms/watts I should use?

Assuming Dell's "business audio" is the usual penny-dreadful XT-style speaker,
4-8 ohms at 2W ought to do it, wired as a variable series resistor. An off
position might be nice, if the thing is going to be easy to reach. Wirewound
is to be preferred, and is probably what you'll get at this low resistance.

If you can find an "8 ohm speaker pad" in someone's junkbox or on Ebay, that
also would be nice, but bigger (~10W, 2" dia.).
