Dell studio DC adapter

I just purchased a studio 17 laptop for my wife and was going to
purchase another power supply so she can keep one in her notebook bag at
all times. I was thinking though, that an adapter that was both ac/dc
would be good, as sometimes we use a laptop to play movies for the kids
on long trips etc. and her 17" screen is a lot nicer than my Lenovo 15"

I have one for my Lenovo thinkpad, that will switch from an ac plug to a
12v dc plug, the dell site has no such product that I can find.

I did find some actual dell adapters like this on laptoppartsworld.com,
but none for the studio model. Is the studio model compatible with other
power supplies?, if so, which ones?

(I do find it odd that they have these adapters and I can't find them on
dells site..)
