What do I need to do to stop the HP Deskjetz 935C from printing a blank
sheet at the beinning each time I print something?

It is something that I noticed only since I installed an original black ink
cartridge from HP.

Did you also install or reinstall an application or software package
about the same time as when you changed the ink cartridge? If so, check
the documentation for print settings, specifically separator pages.

If that's not the case, then look for a setting on the printer
properties that sends a separator page. If theses pages were not being
sent before you handled the printer, then you changed the setting.

However, it may not be a printer issue at all. Using Winbloz? Check
your printer properties. Many ways to get there, but Start -> Settings
-> Control Panel -> Printers and Faxes. Right-click on your printer and
select Properties. Select the Advanced tab. Select the "Separator
Page" button.

Clear the Separator Page field and select the Okay button. If the field
is blank, select the Okay button and select the "Device Settings" tab.

Look for Send CTRL-D Before Each Job: <if Yes, change to No>

Select Okay. Send a test print.

If none of the above resolves the issue, then you must either really
want to keep this old printer. Or, consider getting a new one.

Just my nickel's worth...

Thanks for the various suggestions.

I did go to Properties before I posted. The is nothing in the separator
page. It is blank.

I also do not recall installing any new software lately.

Winbloz I have never heard of and do not have.

I do not see Ctl D before printing starts. Am I right that it would show up
at start of printing? I have never seen that.

Everyone has assumed that your print server is Windows based hence the
suggestions to check properties, etc.

If this is a Linux or HP-UX print server then the interface file
probably has a blank banner page enabled since you said it prints at the
start of the job.

Kindest regards,
