Digital Sender 9100c

I am working on a product that uses the 9100c sender and I want to
know if its possible to alter the HPS file contents to allow for the
scanner to include other variables. To be more precise I have
configured the scanner to prompt a user for a network logon id and
password. This is done using LDAP and ADS authentication. However what
I need is for the scanner when sending a file it just scanned to a
location to include within the HPS file that it also creates which
holds description of the scan to have the logon id the user entered in
a legible format such as U:username. Is there any way to repgram the
digital senders to do this
