Hi all,

I am thinking about having dual monitor with a "THINKING to get" GF 6600
AGP card. Would it be possible? Is there any particular item I need to
consider? Thanks.

I really don't see why you would like 2 monitors I never even figured
out the utility of that except in stores where they show several
monitors with the same pictures anyway Make sure the card you buy got
DVI. That the Dual Monitor thing and 6600GT got it I just bought the
card 3 days ago it comes with a lot of stuff. For the price and
performance and DVI thingy i suggest the MSI GeForce 6600GT 128MB
(NX6600GT-VTD1280)

Two monitors has its advantages. I use them for Photoshop, on the
secondary monitor i put the tools and a paint shop pro window with its
browser open leaving the primary monitor to be dedicated to the photoshop
canvas. Video editing is the same, resources on one monitor and the
timeline on the other really helps.

Another advantage is having an irc and/or instant messenger window on one
monitor and whatever work you are working on at that time on the primary
monitor.

two monitors you wont want to change just get a video card with two
video ports analog or dvi, mine came with dvi to analog changers I love
it.true some games dont support two monitors just un attach them in xp

So, bardman, is it possible that in a dual monitor configuration, we
could play 3D game on one of them while at the same time surfing the net
on the other? I think not all, or many, game support dual monitor, am I
right? It's just from my work, I am so used to have dual monitor so just
started to think about having the same at home while the price for a
nice LCD is dropping a lot. Thanks.
