We load 3 hole punched paper in one tray of our HP LaserJet 8100.
When we print to that tray in duplex the holes end up on the wrong
side of the paper. What is the easiest way to correct this?

Where do the holes end up with single sided printing?

Maybe it has something to do with colating or print order setting (maybe
you are printing last page first and would do better with 1st page 1st).

Single side works fine. We tried reversing page order and it didn't help.

Selecting the Collate checkbox fixed it. Thanks.

Obee-

I'm glad to hear there is a simple solution.

I recall reading somewhere, that some duplex printers print the second side of
the page first and first side last, so that it comes out of the printer in the
correct order: 1-2-3-4 instead of 2-1-4-3.

If that explains your original problem, it isn't clear why selecting the
collate box made a difference unless the entire document is being printed
last-page-first. If that were true, then a document with an odd number of
pages might have the problem on the last page.
