ECS 848P-A: USB2 won't work! ??

I have the new ECS 848P-A mboard (with a prescott 3g) and USB2 will
install on WIN2000 with (or w/o) SP3. Has anyone gotten USB2 to work
with this motherboard? There is no download from www.ecs.com.tw for
win2000 USB2, so,
it looks like this might be a false advertisement - what gives?

You got the deluxe 1.1 or plain jane 2.0?

I think if you install W2Ksp2 or higher the driver should be included.
Check those USB header wires very close. They can be easily confused and
may burn out something.

After some help from tomshardware and an all night download (SP4),
I finally got USB2 to work with win2k. What an ordeal! But it allows
you to access HD's via the USB2 port and this little USB2-IDE converter
that hooks up to bare harddrives. It is now working. Littleberry
