You know that Acer-eGateMachines will never make up a compatibility
table like you want. The best possibility is for someone else to do it.
What is needed is knowledge of the motherboard model, motherboard
chipset and CPU type for each eMachine model. I have had an Emachine
Ghost image fail when used on the wrong model.
Make some assumptions:
AMD CPUs and supporting chipsets require a different restore than Intel
ones.
All Intel Socket 478 CPUs, both Celeron and P4, require the same support
for the underlying chipsets.
If the motherboard manufacturer and part identifier are identical
between two eMachines models, odds are near 100% that the same restore
will work for both.
