I've been using a WD "My Book" 320G drive with both USB2 and firewire
interfaces with my Pavilion media center pc for about a year with no probs
at all. Works great, runs quiet and cool, and comes with useful software. I
can also use it on my friend the videographer's Mac to trade DV tapes.
Comes in lots of sizes and is often on sale. Check Newegg
