As the subject says, I'm wanting to know what is the fastest CPU I can
put on my motherboard. It's an A8R32-MVP Deluxe. I can't find the
manual and have been having trouble accessing the Asus site... Thanks
for any help you can give!

You can decode those, here. Remember to look for Socket 939.

The FX-60 might be the fastest in the list. It is a dual core.
You can get the specs here. It is not in stock, having been
discontinued a while back.

The Opteron 185 matches the FX-60, but is not in the above list.
So is not officially approved by Asus.

Roger that. I found an FX-60 on Ebay for a decent price and will look
at the Asus site, once my ISP gets it **** together so I can connect
again, to see if my BIOS is up for it. Thanks.
