I'm thinking of buying a P5B motherboard to go with a Q6600 in my new PC. However, ASUS CPU support says that the motherboard supports Quad Core after BIOS revision 0609.

How do I get into and flash the BIOS to support Quad Core once I have put in the CPU, if Quad Core is not supported in the first place? Will it not POST at all? Or will it act as only a single core CPU? Or does the motherboard come with 0609 already installed?
