Found heating problem on my K8V-MX with sempron 2800 - the warranty

Yep, they stuck the warranty between the cpu and the heatsink
Note this is not the cooling pad, but a hand written warranty.
Scraped it off, added some paste.
8c cooler now
But lost the warranty .....

Your warranty for a AMD processor is actually the little booklet that comes
with the cpu if its a boxed cpu. If its an OEM cpu then your 1 year warranty
is the purchase receipt from the builder.

Dan, don´t let yourself be fooled by this asshole. He is a Brazilian

No. Its an over the counter board from Paraguay. They are very
cheap, compared with the US, but the warranty is by "word of mouth"
and the little sticker between the CPU and the sink is just there to
say what shop it was bought in and when. It also bears the signature
of the salesman.
But they could have thought of a better place to stick it.
