Has anybody else had problems with the encryption in the Personal
Media Suite software provided with Freecom's FHD-3 external hard disk?
I used this to transfer some files between computers, and it now
refuses to unencrypt files when I drag them out, as it's supposed to.
Freecom tech support are totally useless, and clewarly want me to stop
bothering them. They say that the data must have been double-encypted
and they can't do anything about it. I doubt the former, and it looks
like the latter is true, though it shouldn't be. After all, they've
got the algorithmn, I've got the password- what's the problem?
