Freeze

I am running Windows XP SP2 on an MSI K8N Neo 4 board with an MSI NX7600 GS
Graphics Card. The computer has 2 gigabytes RAM, a Creative Live
Soundblaster card an additional Adaptec DuoConnect card with USB and Firwire
connections.

Unfortunately it is constantly freezing. I should be grateful for any
suggestions.

Problem solved. There was evidently a conflict between the board and the
Adaptec card. Since taking out the card, I've not had any more freezing in
Windows.
