Freezing while booting

Hello. I am having a problem with my machine. While XP Pro is
booting it freezes. It gets to the screen where the green bar is
going moving under the words WINDOWS XP PRO... I don't know what the
problem is. It's hardware related because I formatted the drive and
loaded a good image I had and it still does it. It will just fade and
then stop loading. If any one has an answer that would be great.

Dear Daniel,
I know that this sounds odd but check the CMOS battery. Try a
replacement, it usually runs for $2.50. If that doesn't work then it may be
the hard drive that has a bad sector. Hope that helps.
