I've been using this AITech PC/TV-1108 scan converter to play movies
on my PC and output to TV. It is fully functional with my windows XP
PC. I'm selling because I bought a RJ-1500 divx player recently.
The converter works only in 640x480 resolution for NTSC output. It's
a minor inconvenience, since most NTSC TVs today have a lower
resolution than 640x480, it's not a great loss having to change the PC
resoltuion. Some DVD playback software even allows you to
automatically change the resolution upon start.
The converter automatically turns on when the PC monitor signal is
detected. I used it today and made sure it's still working. It comes
with the PC monitor to video cable and AC converter as pictured.
